Our story: Multiflora Productions is a multi-faceted agency in Washington, DC that specializes in expanding the reach of genre-bending multicultural music. Multiflora presentations have featured artists from every corner of the globe - from Mexico to Mali, from Brazil to Bulgaria. Great care is taken in showcasing a breadth of local and touring artists ranging from emerging young musicians to internationally celebrated stars. Mutliflora Productions is uniquely positioned in Washington, DC to bring this wealth of global sounds to an audience that encompasses all cultural groups.

This year Multiflora is launching its first annual multicultural festival during the month of October. It will be spread across multiple venues throughout the district. The festival is a celebration of the history, culture and artistic expressions of Washington, DC and related artistic and cultural expressions found throughout the globe. American life is inextricably linked to and profoundly impacted by the diverse cultures found throughout the world. Our mission is to present international artists from abroad as well as showcase the diverse multicultural communities in the region.
Multiflora Fest is supported by a diverse group of venues including Tropicalia, Local 16, Bossa Bistro, The Hill Center, MarketSW, Atlas Performing Arts Center, Rhizome, The Safari Lounge, The Millennium Stage, and Comet Ping Pong.
